LEARN ABOUT ME
My name is Maggie Van Orden. I am a 23 year old graphic designer from Idaho Falls, Idaho. I like to snowboard, go to concerts, watch movies, do calligraphy, and spend time with my cat!
I started my design journey in middle school when I became interested in calligraphy. This interest developed more as I painted posters for school functions and hand lettered signs for events. Art is my favorite way to express myself, and that drove me to complete the Digital Media Design program at Dixie Technical College. I have been freelance designing for the past 4 years, and love to help others make their ideas into a reality.
I recently completed a 300 hour internship at Fusion 360, a graphic design company located in Draper, Utah. I was able to work on instagram posts, infographics, and website design during my time at Fusion 360. This helped me grow not only as a designer, but as an employee and team member. Following my internship I worked as a Social Media Manager at Rise and Grind Coffee, located in Midvale, Utah. I am now looking to become a Graphic Designer locally or remotely.
I love working on projects that push me to grow and learn. I’m interested in trying different styles and mediums of design. I have been looking for a job that can help me develop more skills, find my voice, and become the best artistic version of myself I can be!
